Why I love to teach: I enjoy loving on the children. I find excitement in that moment when I see them master the letter or number they have been working on.

Why I love to teach: Teaching is my passion...watching/helping kindergarten students learn how to read and write. It brings my life joy and happiness to help students grow and learn!

Why I love to teach: I love to see and hear children read. I love to see children share and get others excited about what they are reading and learning.

Why I love to teach: Teaching children is a passion. I love to watch that light bulb spark, and to see the overall growth of students from year to year.

Paisley Roberson- Teacher

Why I love to teach: I love watching all children grow in any capacity. Watching the “light bulb come on” is the greatest feeling in the world.


Elizabeth Wilson- Teacher

Why I love to teach: The teaching mission field is always changing. I love being challenged through curriculum changes, learning styles, and the different personalities of students.

Why I love to teach: Teaching gives me the opportunity to share knowledge, but more importantly, to point students to our Savior, Jesus.

Why I love to teach: God put a love for children in my heart, and I love seeing how the Lord uses me in their lives.

Dawn Brantley- Teacher

Area of Expertise/Passion: My passion is teaching Bible because I learn as much from the children as they learn from me.

Why I love to teach: I love to teach because I can inspire students not only academically but also personally, especially in their walk with Jesus Christ. It is very rewarding to see their faces when they understand a new objective, but more heartwarming is when I see their walk with Jesus Christ become stronger. I chose to teach because I wanted to make a difference in a child’s life (a positive difference) whether academically or personally.

Why I love to teach: Teaching gives me the opportunity to impact and influence lives. I can fill their minds with knowledge, their hearts with truth, and guide them in the application of both. Children are a treasure from the Lord and teaching is a blessing. What a joy to see their eyes light up when they “get it”!

Why I love to teach: I love to teach students so I can share my love of reading! I am passionate about the importance of literature across the curriculum. I believe a firm foundation in reading can carry students far in their academic success.

Why I love to teach: I love to lead students on a path towards college, career, and the rest of their life through Christ-centered learning and coaching in a way that teaches real life skills beyond their sports and the classroom.

Why I love to teach: I love having the chance to help shape and encourage students during their middle school years which is such an important time in the forming of their personalities and beliefs- all to the glory of Christ.

Why I love to teach: I love the students. I have the awesome chance to not only try to create/foster the student’s interest in math but to be an example of Christ’s love to them. I have a hope that the students can go from a fear of math to a feeling of possibility.


Melanie Lucero- Science Teacher

Why I love to teach: I love the students and forming those relationships. I always love for students and myself to learn and explore in Science and discover God’s awesome creation!

Area of Expertise/Passion: My passion is to connect with the students and teach them life skills spiritually and in the field of technology that they can use now, in college, and in their career.

Why I love to teach: I am excited to teach because I love the students. I look forward to incorporating the Bible and nonfiction in my keyboarding classes as well as fun, engaging projects using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint in my computer classes.

Why I love to teach: Passionate teaching comes from the greatest Commandment and the Great Commission given by Jesus in the Gospels. First, I love my students...why? because Jesus first loved me. Second, I love to teach these beloved students, because Jesus promises His power and presence as we “go therefore teaching them to observe all that I’ve commanded”.
